Rob Loughery
A real estate investor and developer, Rob is the Founder and President of Nehemiah Development Company, Inc. He has managed multiple real estate investment entities for over twenty years with a particular passion and interest in community revitalization and economic development. His real estate development experience includes redevelopment, in-fill development, commercial, residential and industrial real estate projects, where he has acquired, (re)developed or leased one million square feet in the Mid-Atlantic, Southern and Mid-Western regions of the United States.
Rob is the author of Building Redemptive Community: What Christians Can Do To Make Community Great Again and Founder of Building Redemptive Community - a ministry platform of Nehemiah Development Company.
Rob served as a County Commissioner in the County of Bucks from February 3, 2011 until Jan 6, 2020. He was first elected in 2011, re-elected to a second term in 2015 and served as Chairman of the Board from 2012 to 2016 and again in 2018 & 2019. Rob actively led the efforts to reorganize the county’s housing, economic and community development departments that helped leverage new investment in municipalities, as well as improved access to affordable housing for veterans and individuals with disabilities. These efforts were recognized by PA Department of Community & Economic Development with the receipt of the 2018 Governors Award for Local Government Excellence.
Rob currently serves on numerous private boards and public authorities including the Board of Citizens & Northern Bank (NASDAQ:CZNC), St. Luke’s University Health Network, Grand View Health, Peddlers Village, Inc., and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. He was the Chairman of the Bucks County Retirement Board, Bucks County Housing Authority and served on the Delaware Valley Regional Finance Authority.
A 1987 graduate of Central Bucks East High School, Rob earned a BA in Policy and Management Studies from Dickinson College in 1991. Following graduation, he was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. A resident of Bedminster Township, he and his wife, Kathy, have three daughters – Grace, Evelyn and Amelia. Rob enjoys several leadership and service opportunities in various ministry capacities in his church and community.
